Any new NSXs out there at dealers?

A friend of mine in Boca Raton is looking for a new NSX, to take advantage of the lease offer. Any Long Beach Blue cars out there at dealers you know about? Car must be on the ground, as my friend needs one soon. Thanks.

According to their website, Greenwich Acura has 2 blue 2005 NSXs. They usually have a good size inventory even if they are a bunch of pigs IMO. That would be a good place to start. Don't expect them to return a phone call or go the extra mile at all to sell a car. I'm just saying that they're saying they have two blue ones!! Good luck!!!

He shouldn't need to buy one from a distant dealer that inflates its selling prices.

Any dealer can look up nationwide inventory of new NSXs. Whether they are willing to make the arrangements with another dealership to get a car for a serious buyer, though, may be another story.

You can look up NSX inventory using the NSX locator on Acura's website (see instructions on how to do so in this post but it's not totally up to date.

Here's my best advice: If I were in his place, I would call Customer Service at Acura HQ at (800) TO-ACURA and ask them to tell me which dealers have a new Long Beach Blue NSX-T in stock.

Agreed. I wouldn't associate myself with them if the world was flooded with p*** and they lived in a tree!!! There should be no problem finding the NSX you want at this point!!!

There was a new Blue/Camel 2004 at McChurchhill Acura in Fort Worth, Tx (817/ /232-2872) a few weeks ago. I believe the serial # was 0032. I looked at the car about a year ago while I was in the area. I recently saw that they still had it on the showroom floor. I have a 04 Blue/Blue. Great Color.

Drove by there last night, saw one of the blue ones and a silver one as well. I bought mine there, and I can't agree with your asessment of their store. I got my 02 2 years ago as the 03's were rolling in, and they were quite fair, had to negotiate, but they delivered as promised with no nonsense.

I thought they would be great to deal with. They sell a lot of NSXs. I called and left 14 voicemails and never got a return call. I talked to a guy named Focara (sp?) or something like that. He said he'd call me back with final #s on purchase of vehicle. Never did. I asked about transport. He said he'd give me # of transport company. Never did. Told him in another conversation I could wire him $5K to hold car. He said he would have finance person or himself call me with info for my bank. Never did. I went elsewhere and found out about the lease deal. Once I found the car I wanted, the dealer got it put together in one day. Got a call from Greenwich a couple of weeks later from some guy with an english accent that said he hoped I hadn't got cold feet about buying an NSX. Being in Connecticut, I'm sure they don't need folks out west buying their cars. They could just say that and save us the time.
nsxtasy has the best idea. Check website and call Acura HQ. That should help in your search.

give Prime member: BridgewaterAcura a try. I think he might have one (or it is coming in real soon)

Thanks don,

I have silver/black in stock on my showroom floor and blue/black coming in VERY soon. Im trying to get at least 3-5 more new 2005's by this summer. Alot of dealers order them and when the arrive at the port they get cold feet. Its not uncommon for our district rep. to offer us a few more due to the fact that he knows im an NSX NUT

I think the Long Beach Blue is absolutely gorgeous. Great choice.
Agreed, Ken. I loved mine. But my 2002 White NSX-T (now converted to a Coupe) was worth trading out my Blue for this White Type-R donor car. Trying to convince my friend into the Long Beach Blue.

This is off topic but I have to ask.
How did you convert a 'T' to a coupe?

Hi ALL,

Just wanted to introduce myself. If anyone needs assistance as far as dealers. I can help. My name is Brandee. I have been with acura going on five years. I am currently working for Acura of Pleasanton(CA). I myself have a 93 NSX. So if you need help with a purchase let me know. I can locate cars nationally. I can make the paperwork and transport go smoothly. If I can help let me know.

Respectfully,

Brandee

Wait for it. I'm not ready to "come out" just yet. Project is almost complete, and to no surprise, the answer to your question is "open your wallet and close your eyes."

I can't wait to see the project when it's done. Have you been taking pictures of the conversion with your new dSLR?

I have pics from the bodyshop, though not with my canon 20D (love that camera)

Thanks folks, my friend has a line on a car now. I'll introduce him to using NSXPrime as soon as his car arrives.

I have 2 in-stock at the moment here in NJ. We have a blue/black and a black/black, and we have a few pre-owned as well. We do have 2 more new ones on their way here, should be here any day now.

This isn't another stab is it?

Mike asked you a question, are you joining us? One more car and he's got 50 on the list!!!

To be honest, I don't personally own an NSX. It was a thread asking if any dealers had them availible. I responded to that. The "stab" question was because last time I posted on here, he attacked me for simply trying to sell and NSX we had availible. So I feel threatened. I don't want to show up to a competing dealers party, and be the black sheep.

Lighten up, we are all just NSX lovers here... No one will get beat up  , unless they show up with a CORVETTE
