Anyone Can Help Me?? A/C PROMBLEM

Hello Just wondering if anyone could help me with my A/C promblem?
I have a 1991 Nsx and im having some troubles with my car, what it does is when im driving the car the A/c will turn on by itself and the only way to shut it off (temporarily) is to push the recycled air button and then back to the take in outside air button ( the off button does not work) does anyone have any idea what it could be, it goes on by itself, and the other thing is that it doesn't display anything on the display just turns on by itself.
if anyone has any idea of what it can be, please share it.
