First off, I don't have an NSX, but I do have a 2000 electron blue Civic Si. I really hate the watermarks left on it when it rains! The car looks awful. I saw a tv spot for durashine and it sounds good. Maybe not zymbol, but good. Anyone ever tried it?

My friend is telling me it is going to damage my paint and I should never use it.

What do you all think?

I tried it many years ago when I had my CRX. The 'cascading sheeting action' ONLY works if you dump a ton of water on your car. For regular driving where rain/puddle/water splashes onto your car, it doesn't work. Rain that fall on your car doesn't sheet off because they are teeny rain drops and they still bead. Even with good wax, the best way to prevent waterspots is to rinse your car off and dry with a chamois. Wax will protect your car from the damaging effects of water spots, but won't prevent waterspots.
