Anyone in Monterey?

Hi AGAIN Folks,

I will be interviewing in the Monterey area in early April and wanted to know some personal opinions on the city of Monterey, especially the Eldorado Street area. Any input would be appreciated of course.

Actually, the adjoining Victorian town of Pacific Grove is a much more enjoyable experience - lots of quality restaurants & antique shops; nice pedestrian environment. You can stay in one of the many Victorian Hotels or B & B's which are somewhat more personal that the lage injected-moulded hotels.
