Anyone install a PA system in their car(s)?

I think I would just change lanes.

Bat, Only one problem. They can't hear it going over ~50mph.

I don't know how I know

PA systems are damn loud man, I am surprised they couldn't hear it when they have no road noise, or tire noise or wind noise and purely so aerodynamic.... oh wait. Nevermind, it's probably one of those design cars where they build it to block out ALL of the outside world's noise.

Legality.......... one of our buddies had a HUGE lifted fullsize 86 Ford Bronco , 40" tires, 9" of lift, a obnoxious exhaust and cb/pa system when we were in High School during 98-99. We considered it "our bronco" because we were always causing trouble in the thing. The cops would ALWAYS give us hell for things we never did like knocking over trash cans and mailboxs. Never said anythign about the exhaust even when we ran around without it sometimes, and on occasion bitched at our lack of mud flaps. However, the BIGGEST thing they always ragged on us about was our PA system. Maybe it was how we used it when we driving down the street or maybe it just plain wasn't legal, but they always threatened us about having it. So in our town, I'm 99% sure that PA systems aren't legal. As a matter of fact, his dad was a CHP officer and I believe he made us pull it out because it wasn't legal.

Quick way to get in trouble and become a target. My advice, don't do it... plus, you will most likely just get made fun of!

Besides, coming from someone that uses one daily (along with the blue and reds) a car driving highway speeds will not hear a PA. In traffic/ slow speeds, probably, but not highway speeds. It's hard to hear a siren at highway speeds much less a PA...
