Anyone switch their car insurance to Gieco (not for your NSX but for your regular cars)?

They gave me a quote that was 50 percent less than im currently paying with All State. Anyone make the switch? Tell me about your positive or negative experiences

I've had Geico for all of my cars for quite a while and am super happy with them. Great prices, and the times that we've had a claim they have been unbelievably awesome. So, I can't say enough great things about them.

Having said that, I am thinking about have a "classic" car insurer take care of my NSX, on a stated value policy - just not sure what they would pay if my NSX was stolen / destroyed. Gotta figure that one out.

But gotta say I am super happy / impressed with Geico in every manner. And, I was previously in the insurance game, so I'm familiar with the business.

They handle all of my insurance at present - auto, HO, umbrella, personal effects; and all I can say is that I am very happy. Jay

I ditched All State after 32 years and went to State Farm, saved about 50%. Now days you have to re-shop insurance ever 3 years or so. Loyalty or longevity have no impact on premiums, the longer you are with a company the more they will charge you.

i'd agree with the above statement. i switched to Geico from Allstate, and am very happy with them. i was with Allstate for a long while, and my premiums kept rising every 6-months, even though i have never had a claim or an accident in my life. Geico has my NSX and my bikes, and they were a lot cheaper for all or each of them...

Geico is great,i switched from All state and i pay $ 119 a month for a 3kgt and the nsx ( the nsx coverage is a little less then my 3kgt.....lol)

I use Geico for my '91 Prelude 4WS and the NSX and pay $458 every six months.
Good driver discount, second car discount and no tickets help.

Cheers

I just switched to Geico ($628.00) for all 3 of my cars, they were much less
than my previous / Farmer's insurance ($1180.00) for Full coverage at 200/100/200.
2012 Volvo S80
2010 Ford Expedition
2002 NSX-T

I got so use to Farmers jacking up the rate over the years every 6 months
even though I had no tickets or accidents. I finally had everybody quote it
out this past February.

Here's how they ranked from Cheapest to Highest, you will see the massive difference:

1. Geico $ 628.00
2. Allstate $ 742.00
3. Progressive $ 938.00
4. State Farm $1,088.00
5. Farmer's $1,180.00
6. AAA $1,246.00

Every 6 months....

Geico is great until you get into another accident with someone else that has Geico. Too many claims and they will drop you like a hot frying pan

I've had problems with Geico. When I applied for an umbrella policy over the phone, they asked about a 5 year prior accident history. I didn't have any incidents for that period, so I switched my home, auto, and umbrella policies over to them. A few weeks later they sent me a form asking about a 10 year accident history. Well I did have a claim that was 7 years old, and they ended up canceling my policy. So I switched to Liberty Mutual instead.

We've had auto and umbrella with GEICO for years, but no claims. I think my wife comparison shops every year, so the prices must be good.

I'm with geico and they're great.. Got a nick on my girls brand new accord coupe windshield they fixed it for free. I have my 04 TSX 12 accord 91 NSX and 10 Cadillac srx and pay $260 a month for 4 cars
