arc exhaust question

will a 2002 arc exhaust fit on a 1993

Yes, but not a direct bolt on. I'm by no means the expert on this, but my 92 came with a 2000+ ARC. Because the exhaust piping is made for a 2000+, you're going to have to remove your OEM cats. Also, you will be short from flex pipe to the ARC flanges because you removed the cats, so you will need to have a special length straight pipe made to fill the gap. It also appears the 2000+ exhaust flange bolts are clocked a bit toward the 2 and 8 position, so your custom straight pipe flanges will need to accommodate this. That is how it was done on my 92.

No, not if the 93 has stock exhaust manifolds and cats, or a combination of exhaust manifolds (or headers) and cats (or test pipes) that end where the stock cats end on a 93. To make it work you would have to modify the existing cats and / or test pipes to end where they do on an 02+

Alternatively, you can modify the 02+ ARC to work on the 93.

Unless you also have plans to upgrade the exhaust manifolds and cats at the same time with compatible parts, it would be better to just find an ARC that is built for a 93 (which will get harder and harder now that they have gone kaput).

The arc titanium exhaust is expensive and no longer available. I would not modify an 01 or newer (when the NSX third generation lev exhaust design was introduced) arc exhaust. It would be better in this case tonget the correct year range for your car ( 1991-1996).

I have the Taitec GTLW now and like it, but I like the ARC it replaced a little better. The ARC was the first aftermarket exhaust I had on the NSX so I had no comparison until I replaced it. It is also really light. About 8 lbs lighter than the GTLW.

I have both exhausts currently (Arc) on one NSX and taitec on the other
As chris k noted the arc is lighter and sounds a little better but they are both very good and are my favorites
