Are JDM tailights cheaper than dealer taillights?

Hey guys, my taillights are cracked, so I'm thinking of ordering some JDM taillights from SOS ($836), but since insurance is covering, will they buy these? Or purchase a stock U.S. set from a dealer (I'm guessing dealerships charge the OEM taillights more). Which is more expensive? I also need the spoiler lights....

Nevermind, I called the dealerships. Seems that U.S. OEM parts are waaaaaaayyyyyy more expensive!

How much did those retail? If you join NSXCA some participating dealer are willing to take up to 30% off

When I was replacing my tail lights a few months ago, I checked the price of a brand new US oem replacment for my driver side (pass side was fine) and the price was only $360 for the entire housing, minus the gasket. This was from the dealership. At the sametime, buying a brand new set of JDM tails, after shipping and everything, was going to cost between $900-$1000. Instead, I found a clean used set for half the price and went with that

BTW, with whatever tail lights you go with, spend the extra $72 and get all new gaskets for both sides. I learned the hard way that if you keep on reusing the gaskets, the leaks from rain & car washes get worse & worse.
