I was led to believe I was purchasing 2 brand new rear Zanardi wheels but now I'm starting to question that after a closer inspection. Here are my findings:
- Color is identical to OEM wheel (including perfect match to center cap)
- All markings on the front of the wheel are identical to OEM wheel EXCEPT: OEM Wheel has "RG256", other wheel has "RG256A"
- All major stamps on the rear of the wheel are the same. 785C and SL0. The other numbers vary (confirmed with another Zanardi owner).
- Center cap opening has the same diameter, but the other wheel has extra metal on the backing, preventing the OEM centercap from being pushed 100% flush.
I know that the Mazda Spirit R has the same style wheels, but I do not have any closeup pictures of the front and back to confirm if these are Mazda RX-7 wheels. Also, I'm thinking the SL0 is a specific NSX part number, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I do not doubt that these are BBS wheels, and they are definitely not the RGR wheels, I'm just shocked at the very subtle differences in the centercap hole. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

Front of questionable wheel (Notice the extra metal in the center? This prevents the OEM centercap from sitting flush)
Front of OEM wheel:
They came with these BBS centercaps that fit perfectly.
Here is the questionable wheel with the OEM centercap. It sits very loose and not flush against the wheel. I believe if I shave the plastic tabs on the caps down a few mm it would sit nicely.
