Did a search of this site and came up empty. Anyone use an alignment shop that did excellent work at a fair price? Prefer Alpharetta area but will travel to find someone who knows what he's doing. Thanks!

Grand turismo east.

The do a lot of the high end cars and track cars in the area. They have done both my sl55 and nsx as well. There not cheap but I have yet to find anyone better.

Nuff said.

America's Best Automotive in Alpharetta. The Ferrari/Maserati dealer down the road sends his cars there. They use Hunter equipment. Dean, the owner, is very knowledgeble about the tire trade.

I ended up taking it to America's Best Automotive after visiting it first. You are so right about the owner. Definitely an enthusiast who is experienced. He supervised the job and explained the several pages of results. Even asked me if I wanted specs set to aggressive or save the tires, which I had forgot to tell him beforehand. I would recommend him to anyone for an alignment.

its nice to know of another shop in the area.

Grand turismo does the same thing as far as asking how you want it configured etc. Sounds like you cant go wrong with either one.

How much was americas best?

The alignment should cost you less than $150. Ask for Dean the owner and let him know how you like it if you're inclined toward anything beyond the Acura spec. The Hunter equipment has a good reputation for accuracy.

As I mentioned above, Dean knows tires and is very knowledgeable. He will most likely recommend nitrogen in the tires. I have been running on nitrogen for three years and can comment on the experience if anyone is interested. Also, think over your choice of valve stems, as well. Lots of choices.

If you do go please let him know the guy who owns the late model yellow NSX recommended his shop.

And for the new guy on this thread with the black on black. Whatever happened to thank you? I saw you this weekend in Milton. You should have hailed me down and, at lest, bought me a coffee for recommending this shop.

You just missed out on the Giganto Jumbo Grande Mocha Latte ...
For seconding my co-worker's recommendation (my friend at work was at a BMW event over a month ago where the shop conducted an in-depth seminar on suspension settings, and he raved about the place when he returned), you still earn a coffee from me at the next Caffeine and Octane, unless we get together before then.

I'm trying to set up a drive in No. Ga./Tennessee mountains for a day during the week with a Porsche friend of mine. Interested? Or just a Sunday morning drive around Milton?

America's Best was only $90, with a discount to $80 when I told them my friend from the BMW Club recommended their shop. Grand Turismo East quoted $150, and Jackson Acura quoted $250.

Sounds great on both counts. Please PM me and we'll set something up schedules permitting.
