AVUS 3 piece 18/19... need input

Ok so heres the deal... I recently purchased an extremely mint low mileage set of AVUS 3 piece af-m02 18/19 setup for my nsx.

I just busted the wheels apart tonight but am somewhat torn on which color to do the centers. I was planning on doing the centers championship white to match my car, but also considered black, silver, or gray.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!! I can't make my mind up!!!

And heres the previous owner's car with the AVUS wheels color matched red to match his 05:

I actually did try that Tiger... valid point. For some reason the bright bright red seems to take away from the wheels, and almost the car some.


As of right now I'm leaning towards championship white... but, im still torn :frown:

So you got them eh? I would stick to matte black or gun-metal. Gold would work on white but with your mods already done, I don't think it would go as well.....

If you want something weird and eye catching I guess you could do Green!

Are you implying since you have AVUS wheels on your Imola that I am imitating your car?

I would say a championship white NSX with AVUS wheels is quite far from an IMOLA on AVUS...

If I had an IMOLA, and bought AVUS wheels that may be one thing, but someone else simply buying AVUS wheels that were on an NSX more than likely before you ever had them...

Either way, the wheels look good. USA1, I love your car, and nsxot1c your car's dope as well.

Imitation or not, its a good look. As for your original question, I'd recommend a flat black, or charcoal finish. Not black. It will look sick with a bit of contrast.

I appologize if you took that as me "Trashing" your taste, or your ride but that is THE PRIME example of IMITATION. I may have called your C5 an NSX imitator well, because... it was exactly that. :wink:

No question you have a badass IMOLA :smile: ... but in no way am I attempting to imitate it by simply picking up a badass set of 3 piece wheels used from someone at a 1/4th of the cost that either 1)you paid new or 2) they usually cost.
