B-J online fantasy bidder----1991 NSX.

Not me... But I must admiit, seeing the heading "BJ online fantasy" from the forums section really got my attention!

Reminds me of a license plate that I saw the other day...LUVA BJ

I don't know. The very first time I ever see the NSX mentioned in conjunction with that whole car-fest is when the owner of one forces his way to the top of the fantasy bid list.
Hurrah 1991NSX, wherever you are!

Haha, I was just going to post and ask this. I was watching last night and I saw "1991NSX" on the screen....for a split second I thought they were going
to have an NSX up for auction, then I saw it was someones SN for the Fantasy Bid, but I also was wondering if it was a prime member.

How come we NEVER see an NSX at Barrett Jackson ?

They come through there occasionally. There is a thread on Prime about one going through the BJ auction.

Another reason why we don't see them....they last longer than most other exotics and owners don't have to get rid of them before 30K miles.

My friend mentioned that there was an early NSX scheduled to be auctioned off last week and he was interested in how much it would fetch. I'll ask him if he knows how much the winning bid was.

Wow, I wonder what the mileage was. Thats a pretty good price, since it is now up to date on maintenence. It had been painted, so thats probably a negative...unless it was just for rock chips.

I didn't see that cross the auction block, I wonder if it was sold during a commercial.

Ive seen 4 or 5 NSX's sell through BJ over the years, they bring name money. We register for proxy and phone bid's but there is nothing really that appeals to us recently. I was in the running for a pair of HPA R32's a while back.

Not all the cars cross the main stage. They have numerous auctions going on simultaneously.

No you got that one wrong. There is only one auction stage at B-J for cars. The NSX sold prior to when the TV coverage began on that day.

Modern sports cars do not sell very well at B-J. There are alot of Corvette afficianados at B-J, but the gerneral sports car guys are not really bidding at B-J.

But I love watching every minute of it and had the time of my life checking everything out live there for 3 days last year.

I have also been wondering who 1991NSX was in the fantacy bidding. He was doing pretty well for a while.

Tom
