Hi, David badcarma came by today to ride in my car with my new rims and coilovers.after that he asked me if I wanted a ride in his car with his custom kit he was testing for a client. when he hit the nos it slamed me back in the seat.the car didnt even loose traction,it just took off like a rocket.he looked over at me and started grinning at my reaction.needless to say I am now on the list to get his system.this guy knows nos bigtime. just an fyi for anyone thinking about getting nos after spending 2 hours talking about system setups ans saftey I feel very good about this kit.

Everytime I hit my NOS, I get a big grin also. Next time you get up to Baltimore call me and I will take you for a spin in my car.

How big of a shot/what setup was he running when he took you for a ride?

custom nos

i know it was a 2 stage, 2 bottle setup 100 shot. I could see that both bottles had warmers and remote openers and quick release brackets. the weird thing was the amount of solenoids it had alond his costumize mounted braket on his fire wall. there were 3 on one end, and 3 on the other, plus i saw a msd box and a nos box mounted below. and dave told me that each stage had a purge. i have seen and have been in many nos cars but nothing that looked so complicated with all the safty gizmos. he states it was only a hundred shot but felt much more powerful when hit the button. he said the reason we did not lose traction was the control design which was custom and only allowed the nos to be engage between certain rpm ranges. he explain so much but to i could not retain it all. he is coming over to start helping me prep my car, since my setup will be diffrent then most and extremly custom to coiniside with my future planned turbo setup.

oh yeah the selenoids had 3 on each side, but a forth on each sidethat was the nasty six foot x purge from the rear

damn.. i kinda want one.... but sometimes i asked myself, why? maybe i won't be askin myself anymore once i get ride on a X with nitrous.

how much is a basic setup usually cost? about 75 shot.
