Take a look at this site.

http://snaptell.com/

Just a little something my brother and his friends put together.
You take a picture of a product with your phone in a store, text it to them, and they scan online prices. They text you back with the lowest prices found.

Pretty good idea, i think. I've been at the store many times wondering if I'm getting hosed on something.

Feedback is welcomed also.

The problem is that many companies, like Best Buy, change their model #s on the tag so you are never sure if you are comparing apples to apples. I already have that on my phone... it's called Froogle. As more an more phones get better browser and faster bandwith, this Company will have to compete with the biggies like Google, Yahoo, Bizrate, Shopping, etc.

Hope your Bro - can sell it or take it public and cash out quickly - If it was currently a public company - I would short it!

Froogle is already way ahead of this and easy to use with most phones. And with technology like Google 411 it will really take this to a new level.

Also, I sent a test request a few hours ago and haven't heard anything back yet. Is this a manual process they have to go through or something automated?
