im getting really close to installing the bbsc kit on my nsx and am wondering, rather than tapping the oil pan for the oil return line, would there be any problem with running the oil block identical to the one attached below on the link? I ran this on one of my previous cars that i added a turbo to but i dont want to risk having a oil failure on a high priced motor.. I would appreciate some input. I have no problem tapping the oil pan but personally think that this would look a little cleaner.

i wouldnt trust it for a drain back. for oil press/temp sensors, yes. but i wouldnt want to put extra pressure at that point in the system where the only thing stopping the oil from leaking is a small rubber grommet. id just get another oil pan, pick a spot, have a -10AN bung welded onto it, then just swap oil pans, done deal.

Yeah with that it'll be pressurized and it won't drain. The best way to do it, is to weld a bung into the pan.

And stay away from the GReddy banjo bolts that they supply into their turbo kits (well they don't make one for the NSX, but just their general kits) for the oil drain plug, they don't work very well either.

Take the time to do a weld in AN fitting, nice clean look and it won't leak over time.

If Chris can't help you, I have pans in stock, ready to get coated in your choice of colors.

LMK if I can help.

Why would you need a oil drain for a super charger am I missing something here?

Novi centrifugal blowers use an oil bearing, like a turbo.
