Anybody bought one of these. Gander mountain has told me for months they are getting some in March but that has come and gone. I'd like some feedback from someone if you have one. Thank's. http://www.lipseys.com/itemdetail.aspx?itemno=BEJXS9F21
Man, how ironic. I own a Para Hog 9 compact. Bought it when they were 1st released. Love it dearly, but just looking for another to keep around, and it seemed to get good reviews in the mags, plus it's relatively cheap @$575.00. Hmm, I did'nt see it as ugly though, maybe different.im sorry but thats one ugly gun. If ur looking for a compact why not get a Para Ordinance Carry 9.

Im not trashing beretta. The standard Beretta m92f is gorgeous. One of the most perfect looking handguns on the market. But that smaller version of it looks to wierd for my taste.
Are u getting it because of the size?
By the way my friend is in the army and has told me countless times how the berettas are malfunctioning. He said out of 40 rounds he only shot 19 cause the rest jammed on him.
I would stick to the Para, its not gonna get much better than that.
Huh. The standard Army sidearm is the M9 which is the milspec iteration Beretta 92F or FS. I do remember them having some rather serious malfunctions back when we first got them due to some odd metal wear or cracks in the slides, but IIRC that was cleared up in the Eighties.
Not to say I particularly liked the M9. I always thought its best attribute was the easy availability of 9mm ammunition in Europe.
He said the mags where causing most of the trouble. Hes planning on buying his own so it wont cause him trouble in the field.
Frankly i think the military should have stuck with the 1911.
Just something else small to have. I do like the new design though it's not for everyone. My Para seems to jam on standard ammo which is aggravating. I've got 20/30 boxes of UMC ball ammo Winchester ball ammo along with other various name brands and it just does'nt like any of it. I've got about 50 boxes of Federal tactical LE ammo which it shoots flawlessly everytime but I don't like wasting that high dollar, hard to get lately ammo for target practice. Do you have this prob. with the Warthog?Im not trashing beretta. The standard Beretta m92f is gorgeous. One of the most perfect looking handguns on the market.
