I have a 97 with 111K miles and AC quit working. Looks like the evaporator is gone and compressor about to go. I need the following:

- compressor
- evaporator
- expansion valve
- receiver/dryer

I've done some searching and wanted to see where is the best place to get these parts? Also, for the compressor, it looks like people have had success with non-OEM from ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-...goryZ33543QQihZ012QQitemZ8041136790QQtcZphoto). Is this still the case? Are their other reliable, non-OEM alternatives for the other AC parts?

Also, any chance someone can help me out with OEM part numbers for the above?

Thanks again in advance for your help.

The evaporator and expansion valve are dealer items. You can get part numbers from DelRay Acura on-line. http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/jsp/home.jsp

A rebuilt compressor (Nippondenso P/N 10PA15C), and reciever/dryer is available from here: http://qccompressor.com/

Wherever you buy the compressor be sure to compare the size of the pulley when you get it to make sure its the right size. If not swap it for your old one.

Thanks Big_D.

Has anyone else had any experience going with non-OEM compressors and receiver/driers? Looks like it would be a savings of $200 versus OEM--pretty significant.

Also, I understand that the OEM evaporator (80210-SL0-A03) comes with the expansion valve. Can someone confirm this?

Thanks.
