Vegas....Baby!
No flames please, I did a search and found less than stellar results.

I am leaning towards having Bilsteins HD B46-1663 & B46-1665,
BILACURAR.jpg

(Is this the right part #'s for Bilsteins with lowering perch?) installed on my 91 NSX. Having seen and read other posts here, I have a few questions.

Edit: I have a 91 NSX.

-Not ever having done shock replacement, I see where 15mm front/25mm rear wheel adapters are being used. Are these recommended and or necessary?
(Running 215/40/17 front 275/35/18 rears.)

-I'm keeping the stock OEM springs as per many posts here.

-Having found them for around $150 each, is their any great deals you know on these shocks?

-Thinking of having local Acura dealer install them. Would you take it elsewhere to have them installed? *Will have alignment done at Acura ASAP after install.

-Anything else concerning this upgrade?

Thanks in advance,

Ok... nopi.com... CALL them and ask for Alan.... about $450 for the set.

There are only one type of Bilstein's for the NSX, and those are it.

I would take it to a TRUSTED mechanic to install. Easy to tear a CV boot in the back, and the stock shocks are a PITA to get OUT!!!!!!!!! Also, have it aligned afterwards, but be careful!! GUNN ACURA IN SAN ANTONIO SCREWED MINE UP!!!!!!! They aligned EVERYTHING full right, and tried to convince me my left control arms were bent!

Also, the alignment may/may not be back within specs if u lower it, but it's to be expected.

Yes those are the correct part numbers.

Could you provide some more information about your wheels? Type, width, and offset? Most people are using wheel adapters/spacers to help increase the track or push the stock wheels out after lowering. I highly doubt you need wheel adapters for your wheels with the tire size you provided.

Anything else concerning this upgrade?

For me, I am very happy with the Bilsteins on lower perch with stock springs. However, I *sometimes* wish my car was a little bit lower.

Wheels are OZ super leggera one piece. Not sure of width & offset.
*Total NOOB question: How do I find the offset?

Any suggestions on a wee bit lower?

Thanks!

Thanks a bunch! This really helps!

Wow! This is the exact advise I was looking for.

As long as my tires wear 'bout the same. *I don't track it.

Thanks! This save hours of searching!

You definitely won't need wheel adapters then. The majority of the rims have the size and offset stamped behind the wheel on the inside spokes.

Any suggestions on a wee bit lower?

Have you seen this thread? http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82646
You could try Eibach (1.25" lowering) or H&R (1.5" lowering) springs on the normal perch on the Bilsteins. Eibachs are progressive which I do not like, H&R are linear. If you really want to go lower than an inch, I would research a little more as there are a lot of other options out there. For example:
