Hi,
I have a 93 NSX with pretty much stock C30 motor, except unifilter. Every single time after I wash my car, she bogs for about an hour of straight driving. I initially thought that maybe it was because the filter got wet, but no possible way because the stock plenum is above the air vent. Now I'm thinking maybe a wet ground wire. I don't think it's bad O2 sensors, but I got smogged once and they said I failed the NO test. Any ideas? Thanks.

Mine does it in Florida when it rains a lot. I have found that it is something with the ignition coils. Once a year, I pull them out and put new spark plug boot grease in there and it is fine for some time.

Someone told me that when the coils start to get bad/old, the humidity gets to them.

I'll take a look at the coil cover. Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll follow-up if anyone else has this problem.

ah yess, the typical wet coil misfire problem. What you need to do is to just keep on driving the car until it all dries up. To prevent this from happening again, I always cover the rear garnish to prevent the water from dripping down to the rear bank.

I had this problem on my 91. Gasket on the covers doesn't make a good seal after many years, lets water by and starts filling around the ignition coils. Take 'em out clean the plug area out and you should be good to go, I used some liquid gasket maker around the cover to help aid in keeping water out.

HAHA!!! Thanks to Rob's help (Ron98), we found the culprit. We were thinking that the gasket was installed on the bottom half of the spark plug cover...nope... Kinda sucks when there isn't a gasket at all. Previous owner didn't even have a gasket so water would just fall into the ignition coils... Oh do I hate crappy owners!!!

okay, thanks for the heads up.
