Bose radio.. no noise

91 NSX already with 3 new amps renewed three years ago . The radio just went dead.. no noise from any speaker. the panel lite on the radio is ON, checked the amp fuse in the fuse box and OK. the antenna is also working. Any clues??
have checked FAQ but no related Q/A.

no hissing sound, clock fuse ok.undertsand if there is a hssing sound, amps are dead again. will check the relay. is it in the front fuse box near the amp fuse.??sorry for this dumb question .

The amps normally make a quiet hissing sound when powered up if you can't hear that then the amps are not getting power. Remove and test fuse #51 for continuity. If that’s good then check the power amp relay see the picture above its located in the relay box by the tread of the spare tire, just remove it with the stereo on and you should be able to feel it click off when you pull it out. The display on your stereo is lighting up when on right?

It's in the drawing above!!!!!!!!!! That's why it was attached.

OK - I can see how that might not be clear as to exact location - this should help

I was not in HK for weeks, just had a techncian checked out all the relays as suggested, they were A OK.. still no sound. will go back soon for testing. suggested the power amp may be gone. Will let you all know the result.
