The age old Bose amp failure finally happened. Send the amp for repair and upon reinstallation, I found out that the initial amp failure also took out my speaker driver. Went to my local Bose retailer where they were less than helpful. Also try contacting Bose Automotive multiple times and got nothing but recording prompts. Any better suggestions?

Thanks Regard
Paul

PS: Voice coil is rubbing bad.

had similar problems with my ten years old model. best to contact Willman's electronic in Dallas. I had all three amps replaced though took awhile due to avaliability. The speakers were ok and did not need replacement. But any decent radio shop would have alternatives, no need to go original re speakers. If one of your amp. is gone, it will not be too long before the other two go the same route. Daryl at Willamn is very helpful and charge fair. He can also supply Bose speakers. Good luck!

The FAQ ("sound system" section under the "Troubleshooting" heading) lists several places where you can get repairs done.

Thanks for the kind suggestion. Willman did replace my amp though I didn't know he also carrys Bose drivers. Will drop him a note.

In the event if I can't locate a driver, please kindly direct me to a source in Hong Kong. I can always have my HK office send me one.

Regards
Paul
