Brembo GT replacement rotors

I have Brembo GT brakes installed on my NSX. I believe the front rotors are warped since the car shudders when braking. I had the rotors turned once and that seemed to fix the problem, but over time it began to shudder again. Where is the best place to purchase replacement rotors? Has anyone used a different brand of rotor instead of Brembo with Brembo GT brakes? The Brembo rotors on my car are drilled and not slotted, and I wonder if that makes them more prone to warping.

Any advice or experience is appreciated. Thanks!

Brembos were already installed when I purchased the vehicle.

Take a pic...are the calipers painted a color or are they a goldish metal? what diameter are the discs?

Calipers are red, and I think the discs are 328 mm.

those look like the standard brembo(lotus) calipers..the 328 disc is also common. You can find replacements at any good race shop or SOS ect..Make sure you let whomever you order from know how many bobbin holes the hats have.

Thanks doc! Sorry, but how do I figure out how many bobbin holes for the hats?

just count the number of little fasteners that attach the disc to the hat...

That same “lotus caliper” kit came on my car as well. It was not so easy to find info and parts for them.

I ended up with these racing brake rotors and I like them: https://racingbrake.com/2156/. One of my favorite things is that the hats are the same thickness at the hub as stock rotors (7mm), so won’t act like a spacer and affect your wheel offset. The hats that came with my car were a lot thicker.

You also may be able to just get rotor bolts and rotor rings from racing brake if your hats are in good shape and they have the same number of mounting holes.

* Bleeders are thread size M10x1. I recently installed speed bleeders and successfully used SB1010S-SS. That model also has 100 other part numbers: 9407, H9407, 9497-2, H9497-2

There may be other stuff I am forgetting, happy to answer anything else related to them!

Great info here, Bogle! Thanks! I'll pass this on to a friend for his new project. The tires are due so he ordered a set from 4Wheelonline and he's looking to replace the Brembo GT rotors as well.

You can also get rotor rings from Girodisc 330x28mm. Same as 360 Challenge rear rotors.
