California roadtrip.

Hey guys,

I was thinking of doing a mini road trip around central coast and northern California for our marriage anniversary. Originally I was thinking of shipping the McLaren or the Maserati out there but then thought why not rent something nice in San Fran or San Jose airports. I was thinking Porsche or something more luxurious. The only problem with that it the daily mileage limitations. Any good recommendations for Car rental place in that area. I have contacted Enterprise(they have a high end line) and waiting to hear from them.

Hey Ritesh,

You can rent Porsche's at SFO, Boxster's and 911's with Hertz. Better benefits if you are a Hertz Gold or Mileage Plus Member, something like a Chase Sapphire Preferred Card can take care of insurance.

Planning to do any track events while you are out here? Can leave the wifey at a nice Spa up in Napa while going to Sonoma Raceway. (just kidding...)

HAHA.... Ken! Can I borrow your Cayman/911 or S2k for a few laps a Laguna Seca? :biggrin: In all seriousness - not planning any track events. Have been considering doing a skip barber course at LS just to drive that track.

I have looked into Hertz. Considering them or Enterprise or cost of shipping 12C to McLaren dealership and picking it up there and dropping it off at another McLaren dealership.
