Welcome to the official "Hugh's Offensive Bumper Sticker Thread"!

Every month or so, Charlotte will be sporting a brand new bumper sticker designed to spark a reaction of some sort from people. I will hopefully be able to keep everyone entertained by chronicling these events. (Unless of course I'm killed) :biggrin:
Most of you who know me know that I love to get people's panties in a bunch by pushing the right buttons via my posts. I've decided to expand my horizons by preying upon the general public.

Why not start things off with a bang?

South Florida is a target rich environment with people whose buying decisions are based purely on marketing, advertising and making sure they have what their neighbors have. As such there is a plethora of butt ugly teutonic eyesores running rampant on our roads.

My "salute" to these nasty little crapwagons has been beta tested over the weekend. I'll share the first batch of reactions with everyone later this week. (Some are absolutely memorable) For now without further ado is OBS v. 1.0

Except for actually having to put a bumper sticker on the car itself I love the idea. Sounds exactly like what i would do. I cant wait to see the reactions.

but I love german cars myself, but the bumper sticker is funny.

You should make one "Ferrari's SUCK" lolololl

How about those static-cling stickers on your rear window instead?
They're easy to remove each month and they don't make other NSX owners cringe.

Don't know if the German car sticker will piss people off, but the McCain sticker will!

Why do you have an American flag sticker on a 100% Japanese car?

The same reason I have a Rising Sun sticker on my 100% American nutsack. :biggrin:

Good thing you don't live in central NY.

V-DUB is a cult in these parts, you would be sure to get your car keyed and or lynched.
 
I don't have the images to post but two memorable bumper stickers I've seen are:

1. Big Script - "Thank you for talking on your phone!" Small script - "Clearly you pay as much attention to your looks as you do safety"

-in Dubai even where its illegal to have bumper stickers or anything offensive.

2. Save a Tree Eat a Beaver

-saw this back in Canada - makes me proud to be a Canuck!
 
Somehow my NSX manages to piss people off, bumper sticker or no. Not long ago I'm gassing up minding my own bizwax when some dude in a Trans Am spots the car, yells "Hey, A-hole," and then proceeds to circle the station laying down a scratch, beating the hell out of his car.
After he was gone, I was like, "WTF?"
Idiots like that are so entertaining.
When I left, I did it smoothly, no redline.:biggrin:
 
I don't think a NSX can piss people off, I think the stuff the owners decorate their cars with can piss people off:rolleyes:

The sad thing is, most of the NSX owners like to receive respect from US/German/Italian car owners, and yet, they don't respect their cars... Out of respect. This sticker essentially give people the middle finger while your driving.

I own a German car. It's more of a driving machine then anything out of Japan short of their only supercar (NSX).:confused:
 
Yea Hugh. Know the thought. Around the Motor City/UAW capital, I get the unearned bird once a month for not being patriotic.

yea, its not really a good idea, and just gives nsx drivers a bad look / immature impression, and for how few there are on the roads, is that really a good idea?

Its all funny like I said before, but now I think about it, its not a smart thing to do as it affects other NSX drivers, IMO .


For record, german cars are good cars, oh wait I said that already, ok
