Can no longer edit thread?

after so long you cant edit the thread because in the past people have gone back and taken out wording and prices etc. as to make a car look as if it has never had problems etc.

RSO will chime in if I am wrong. just add a new post and keep going I know you wanna keep it all in one post

Ya, I figured that was the case. Any idea who I can ask to make an exception? It would be nice to be able to continue adding to it for years to come. The information is useless if it's spread amongst several posts; no one will bother searching through it all.

Otherwise, I can just start a new thread every year, though that will get annoying for everyone I think.

Instead of trying to maintain this across three or four threads and an old wiki page, how about a single page where all the data from various people in different threads can be collected into a single list?

Michael I just set you up as an editor for the list. The system sent you an e-mail with your password but there's a good chance it went to your spam folder so check there. Log in, click on TablePress, then edit the OEM Part Weights table.

I just did a rough import of a few different lists I found so there may be some duplicates. You can link them all

Thanks. I understand your point, I'm just not a fan of that layout. There are multiple pages to go through, and no pictures are included. This is why I made my thread. I wanted something easier to view and even more accurate to what is being weighed.

The pagination is controllable. Users can click to view 50 or 100. You can also change the default for the the list when you edit the list. Or just turn it off. The current setting is just the default.

When I did the import it only brought in the text, but the images can be all linked if you feel it is important. There is an button at the bottom of the table editor to add a a link. However by just having someone be "gatekeeper" of the list and verify weights with photos I'm not sure if images are needed once they are added to the list.

Anyway, the list is there, if you want to maintain it I set you up to do so. If you do not and someone else does, I can set them up.

There is no way to create an exception to the message edit timeout.
