Someone I know has been pimping their new side business venture as an answer to my travel needs........When I went to "his" website listed on his business card, it looked like a pyramid scheme ?

I just googled "YTB". Interesting stuff on there. Seems to be a scam.

Its just like amway for travel. That being said, i've had friends that booked through YTB sites before with no problems. They have pretty good pricing from what i've seen. Your friend just makes a % of the sale for the referral.

Sooooooooo........from what I can tell, this guy and his wife are simply renting a travel webpage from YTB, and if anyone books a trip from their webpage, they get a commission (???? ????). Fair enough, but to be a "referring agent" like they are, YTB requires them to pay to be employed, then pushes them to recruit other agents...sounds like those tall things in Egypt to me ..........
