Folks,

Any recommendation on a car stereo repair shop in the Bay Area?

The amplifier in my Lexus went bad and I prefer to have it fixed than replaced at the dealer ... the quote from them to replace the amp is like $800 bucks

I've been in the car stereo biz for many years and have yet to hear of a shop that "repairs" OEM stuff....

Your best bet is to just sell the car! j/k

Actually I suggest you find the part number of the amp and then try E-bay to get a replacement and replace it yourself. Otherwise you only have the dealer option.

I've done this a few times for buddie's cars and on cars we rebuilt / restored....

I wonder if any of the guys on here that do amp repairs for our bose setups could repair you amps as well... I would do a search and see what one of them say.
