carbon fiber air filter box lid?

Does anyone know where this can be found/fabricated? I have the Comptech carbon fiber intake and wish that I could view the carbon fiber from the outside as opposed to keeping the stock housing for the upper part. Yes, I should have bought the Gruppe M if I just wanted the aesthetics (didn't realize this prior to purchase that it retained the stock lid) but I bought a new one @ half of list price (+ install) so I can't really complain

Hi,
You can purchase a CF lid from Comptech. Eventhough they don't have it in their catalog, they told me it would cost about $300 and is a custom part. You may call them to confirm.

Cool! Now I'm a happy camper. Part # is 11.1539 and they have 4 in stock @ $299.95 if anyone else needs one. I should be getting mine within the next couple of days : )

Yea call Comptech. I think Steve Hoppe told me 200 from him at Miami Acura. Call him and see what he says. I'm getting mine in the spring.
