CCU : changing from Farenheit to Celcius ?

Hello !

I guess the title says it all. I read the docs about the CCU, and nowhere could be found the info on how to swap the degrees reading from F to Celcius (or vice versa).

Or is it possible only by changing the whole CCU from USDM to EDM or JDM ?

when you remove the CCU from the car there is a switch on the back

you move the switch to the other selection and it changes to Faren

Not sure which "switch" you're talking about, but changing from F to C is a matter of taking out 1 wire...

Yeah I read the post but there's always the drawback of having 1 degrees increments and a min temp of 18Celsius

Is opening up the CCU unit complicated ?

Or is it easier with the "switch" solution at the back of the CCU as Shawn suggested ???

Very simple to do, I did it on my first CCU. Only problem is the knob goes from min to max with only 1/2 turn.
