if you dont mind not having the factory stock CD player they make adaptors that plug right into the bose connection in the trunk. I replaced my broken CD changer with an alpine and it maintains all of the contorls. Works great, sounds better and skips a lot less

The OEM CD player should not skip at all. If it does, it was probably installed improperly. See the FAQ for more info.

I know when I bought my 91 nsx the OEM changer was made by Apline. They looked exactly the same expect where it said Alpine it said Acura. So I just bought an Alpine unit because it was cheaper, I get Alpine stuff at cost.
