Just wondering if folks who have had this code had to replace a cat,and if anyone has tried the sos high flow ones.the code reader at car quest said it is "catalyst system efficiency below threshold." i searched,and the only thread i found on this code is 8 years old-

in the thread,larry bastanza says this code means you need a new cat.larry obviously knows what he's talking about,always appreciate his input,so i'm looking at alternatives.

i checked some prices,two cats are about $2750 full price oem (ouch), maybe $2000 at an online discount dealer site,and $745 for the sos ones.the choice seems pretty obvious,but i'd love to hear from someone who has the sos ones.
