is there a 'perfect' place to make the opening for a single din?

I haven't opened the dash yet

I have a SOS FRP center console and I am wondering where the best place is for the opening.

- is the head unit only supported by the center console face? or are there other attaching points inside the dash?

thanks in advance

You need a cage, or rails, inside of the console, here is my single din HK Traffic Pro:

Once you take the old stereo out you are able to use some of the points that were used to hold it in as mounting points.

This is how I did it and then I cut the Center Console to fit. I am using the Dali CF Center Console which does not have the best fitment. I am hoping that BenDF is going to make a single din replacement. There are alot of interested people.

The cutting and the fitment are an issues that alot of people had because they are unable to make it loook OEM.

Thanks hoops7k,

just what I needed to see:smile:
