Clutch Bleeding

So I tried to bleed the clutch on my daily driver (2006 CRV MT) and I had no success. I've bled the clutch on the NSX with no problems using the same technique. I was using a Mityvac Bleeder. What happened is I cracked the bleeder screw with the mityvac hooked up and no brake fluid came out. I unscrewed it some more and still nothing came out. Finally I took the bleed screw out completely and still no fluid came out. I put the screw back in and buttoned the car up. The clutch still feels fine so no air got into the system. I'm wondering if my slave cylinder is all gunked up or if you need to depress the clutch to get fluid to come out the bleeder screw. Any ideas?

the port in the slave cyl. is most likly clogged . If you bleed it with someone pumping the pedal it would probably force it out (pressure vs. vacuum ).

Thanks Ralph. Fluid was rather brown. I'll try and bleed it the conventional way in a few weeks.
