Clutch removal on the way. Questions !

Following what I think is finally a clutch disc faillure (no problems on the master, slave, lines and clutch fork moving normally), I undergo the removal of my clutch. I am following this procedure : http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/nsx/clutch/nsx_clutch_install.php

For the time, no big problems but I am missing a good size pry bar to take the axle out. Is it normal that it needs some force to take them out ?

Why do we have to take the right and the middle axles out too ? Is it not possible to take the transmission out by pulling it to the left of the car with the middle axle on ?

Thanks.

You just need a couple of flat screwdrivers to get the axle out of the transmission. Yes, it takes some force, seems weird on a car like the NSX. Bag and protect the ends of the axles, they are not to be dinged or nicked.

The RH mid and RH half shaft will have to come out....both segments! You cannot pull the mid shaft by itself. There just isn't anyway of getting around it: you're gonna have to pull all the axles from the transmission.
