Comptech... Test Pipes?

i have a comptech exhaust and comptech headers working together with my ctsc autorotor.

im looking to have the cats replaced with test pipes to free up more air.

does anybody know what size test pipes i need to properly mate the headers and exhaust as a 100% match? thanks

There will be minimal increase in HP gains by doing this...IMO not worth the $$/destroying the environment. Consider high flow cats?? :biggrin:

Disagree 100%. I clearly gained 12rwhp on a low reading dyno. Considering how cheap they are, it is worth the price. On some higher reading dynos, you could see as much as a 15rwhp gain.

If you want get some, then look at the Dali Racing test pipes that are 2.25" in diameter. I had these are my previous CTSC setup, and they were perfect. Here is the link:

You can get them with or without O2 bungs. In addition, you can go even higher and get the 2.5" diameter ones.

When I had my CTSC setup, I was running the cantrell headers. I am pretty sure they will match up. I dont think the collectors on those headers are out of the ordinary. Just send Mark at Dali and email. He will know.

I was also running the GT-One v5.1 and the test pipes fit perfect. If they fit on that exhaust, I am sure they will fit on the normal comptech :smile:

How much louder was the CTSC / Comptech header / Comptech exhaust setup with the test pipes? Did it sound good?
