Continental extreme contact DW. This is a very good tire with good ride and long lasting wear qualities, that used be come in NSX sizes. Their website still shows a 215/40/17 but NO ONE seems to have them anymore. Does anyone know if these are disco?

Yup, looks like they're pretty much gone now.
I was looking for a pair of fronts in that size for my NSX just last week. My contact at the local Discount Tire called around looking for a set. It seems like it's no longer in their system, and the only set he found was located in Michigan. It would've added $60 to the cost of the tires for shipping to me in California.

I've noticed a lot of manufacturers have dumped the 215/40/17 tire size. Probably due to sluggish sales from it fitting very few cars like the NSX, and seems most NSXers buy extreme tires like the star spec and yoko AD08 which remain available in NSX fitments for both front and rear.
X2! Finding 215/40/17 tires around my area is impossible, they have to be shipped in from somewhere else...
