Couple Issues I need help fixing

I have two issues with my car that I was hoping any of you can help me out with.

The first problem I have is with my trunk. I'm using my master key to open the trunk and for some reason I cant seem to turn and open it. The key will go in though. Im hoping there is a small thing I overlooked.

The second issue I have is when my car is rolling, I hear a whistling/high pitch sound from the right rear tire. Im not sure if its the tire, brake, or rotor. Anyone have any ideas?

#1: You probably don't have the original master key, otherwise it would open the trunk. It maybe the valet key. Or it can even be that the trunk key cylinder has been replaced.

#2: Can you put the car on a jackstand and turn the wheel so you can see and hear closer to the hub? It may be a anything from a torn cv boot to a rock stuck inbetween the rotor and pad. There is no definite answer without more information.

3: Are you enjoying the car otherwise?

Don't the fact pads have squealer indicators on them? Pads could be getting low.
