I will not be attending this year's NSXPO, however I felt compelled to ask the question based the direction that the thread noted below is going.

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54666

Does the committee have any thoughts on how to deal with attendees who've had "business dealings gone bad" with Dali. I recall a few people mentioning in past threads that they may not be the most gracious if they come face to face. Maybe it's me, but it seems there's more people being vocal on this subject than ever before and goodwill towards this company appears to be dwindling.

I'm not trying to start anything, just curious if this has been brought up in discussion if this vendor will be attending. I suspect the committee does not want any kind of downer on an event that should be a good time for everyone.

The same ? was posed for last xpo,,and MJ was a no show .I don't think it is the nsxca's job to pass such judgements on who attends(if that person meets the requirements of nsxca membership),public conduct is everyones responsibilty  Would be interresting though to watch that spectacle.FWIW I don't recall major fireworks last time he attended xpo in sonoma. The tides seem to have shifted somewhat from that time however.

At this time Dali is not scheduled to attend NSXPO as a vendor.

In regards to your comment about potential confrontations between attendees and Mark Johnson, we can only say that we oppose any kind of confrontation or disruptance at NSXPO whether it be between two attendees, an attendee and a vendor, or two vendors. We would urge everyone to HAVE FUN at NSXPO and not use it as a stage for anything other than the enjoyment of the NSX and it's enthusiasts.

The following paragraph is a general statement regarding vendors/sponsors at this year's NSXPO:

All potential vendors must go through the NSXPO 2005 committee in order to display goods and/or distribute product/promotional materials/giveaways at the Vendor Day event or any other part of NSXPO. The NSXPO 2005 committee strives to remain apolitical, but is steadfast in its determination to allow only approved vendors and sponsors the opportunity to be involved with NSXPO 2005 and use of the NSXPO 2005 logo or name. This protects the integrity of the valuable contributions that all of the sponsors have made.

It is the NSXPO 2005 committee's hope that the contributions of each sponsor is recognized by the NSXCA membership and we encourage the support of these vendors in your future purchases/services. You will see several places that list the sponsors of this year's event (nsxpo.com website, registration materials, social packet that will be mailed out to registrants, etc.)

Here is a list of sponsors to this point for NSXPO 2005:

Presenting Sponsor - Acura Division of American Honda
Comptech
Zymol
Yokohama
ScienceofSpeed
Dale Ramsperger
Basch Accurate Service
Exedy/Daikin Clutch Corporation
Carbotech
Autowave
ArkSpeedRacing
Cantrell Concepts
Cobalt Friction
Intense Graphics
NSX Prime

We're looking forward to NSXPO 2005 and encourage everyone to participate as it will be a lot of FUN!

There was no fireworks because the people there displayed appropriate conduct in such happy event. There were a few people that went confronting Mark Johnson in very Civil manners and I think Mark was not stupid enough to blow them off in front of everyone.

I'm curious to know Steve did the "civil" aproach amount to any satisfactory resolutions,at that time?

Haha. No, Mark would not dare to rip me off since he KNOWS he would not get away with that. At NSXPO2003, there was this nice gentleman that I chatted with and the Dali issue came up and he told me that Mark ripped him off among a few people he knew who were also at the NSXPO. I simply pointed my finger in the direction of a tall guy with a pony tail and told that gentleman to take the issue up with that long haired dude. The gentleman got his stuff/money.
