I'm trying to learn something about Dali racing chips for early model NSX's. Are there any negatives such as more stress which compromises reliability, decrease fuel comsumption. Trying to learn a little. Thanks!

this has been discussed many times! Doesnt do shit and its a waste of money $$. The dyno never lies.

suggest you search on the vendor for feedback.

Maybe.... It increases the rev limitter, so i suppose it puts more strain on the engine.

I think it does a little not sure though, don't have data to back it up.

If you do a search (as mentioned by Bridgewater Acure), you'll find that this has been discussed not to long ago.

Combined with my shortgears i can't be more then happy with the product.

I sure would like to hear some more feedback on this topic as well. my search does not find to much other than the Schematic showing that the dali chip is the best of the bunch

Well, dynos DO have margins of error. But, you can do quote a bit to mitigate those (same day, same car, control all other factors). Do a search or check the FAQ for chip-off day information. A dyno in the above condistions says that the Dali chip DOES produce more power than OEM, and more so than any other chip produced at that time (not including SOS).

P.S. We just discussed this here.
