Is anyone else concerned that the Japanese are so far advanced in the field of robotics? I mean, I really don't think these companies are pouring billions in R and D just so we can have robots dance for us. I am thinking the govt. grants them with a lot of research money for more militant applications.

Maybe I have been watching too many movies (Terminator 1,2,3, iRobot, Matrix) but it's not to hard to imagine a million of these things marching on someone's shores holding guns instead of fans.
