DC Sports Mufflers...... how do they sound?

I've always liked DC sports products... because before my NSX i had a 92 Prelude Si turbo with ceramic headers and cat back system... sounded REALLY good... unlike all the other boyracer bumblebee in a coffee can sound...

how does the DC Sports mufflers sound compared to most systems? I want something that wont be that loud when idling.. and louder when it wide open! at least something to cover up the sewing machine sound from the valves......

a few comments have started to surface from people i've ran into "It must have alot of miles on it because it sounds like it needs a tune up" when i know all vtec v6's sound like this... uhhg! anyways....thanks for the info!

Note that the review shown for the DC Sports exhaust refers to the RM system. This is because at one time, RM sold DC Sports exhausts under their name. RM has since developed their own exhaust. But the review shown for the DC Sports exhaust is, in fact, a review of the exhaust that DC Sports still sells.

Hmmm.... Come to think of it, I may be confusing RM with Comptech. I think it might have been Comptech who was selling the DC Sports exhaust at one time.

Lud, what's the story with the review shown in the FAQ under the DC Sports heading?

As far as I know, DC Sports is the only one who sold the DC Sports exhaust... I don't think the FAQ suggests otherwise, does it?

Hey Electro,
I have a DC exhaust right now on my NSX.....It gives a deep throaty sound (if that is the sound you are looking for).....get RM or thermal if you want some loud stuff....

No - but what is confusing is that in the "Exhaust" section of the FAQ (see link above), there is only one review, but it doesn't mention the DC Sports exhaust, it refers to the RM exhaust. Is it possible that this is actually a review of the RM exhaust that got mislabeled?

Re-read it. Probably not the clearest text in the world, but it is describing how the RM is louder than the DC. I'll add some of the other reviews I've seen ASAP.

I have a D.C. sports exhaust on my car and I'm very happy with it. The sound is just right, not too loud. In other words my wife has never said anything sarcastic about it.

DC is slightly louder than stock. I was dissapointed with sound and got rid of it immediately.
