So it's all over the internet/television, but I have'nt seen it posted on Prime so I should'nt be worried yet then.
Anyone like to share their theories?

Maybe this?

Just read an article that there are have been multiple mass animal deaths all the time in history. However, the phenomenon is that the internet, youtube and email has made them more prominent then it would have been historically. So taking a normally banal event and having it explode is the great explanation of its prominence rather than any crazy phenomenon.

The story of this homeless guy is the exact same phenomenon working in reverse.

Brian Williams is going to have a segment on this Monday night on the world news. My bet is toxic clouds of some sort - what else? This story that fireworks caused it is too far out for me. We have fireworks atleast twice a year, every year, and we don't have mass bird kills.

The weird thing is:
1. It's happening all around the world at the same time.
2. Scientists currently don't know why.

Thing is it's happening everywhere. From Italy to Quebec, Brazil, to Virginia. And it's not just birds, fish are doing the same thing.
What that tells me is it's not a localized cause.
I read one story saying 1,000 Doves fell out of the sky in Italy and they all had a blue tint to their beaks which scientists think is a sign of affixation.

My first hunch, I wonder if it's tied to the BP spill. They used a lot of chemicals...

2012 baby..............its a coming !!!

How long can we abuse the planet before things start to fall apart ???
And how long can our population grow until we exceed capacity ???

MAJOR changes are coming imo in the not to distant future.

Mass animal deaths are not new. It's probably due to natural climate change cycles worldwide. We should not always assume it is caused by man.

My friend has lived in London for 47 years and has not seen a December as cold as this past either!

You may be onto something. Is there a chemical engineer in the house? How does the disperssant BP used degrade? Chemicals just don't disappear, they can change forms from liquids to gas, be ingested in the food chain, be diluted, etc., but they're still here - somewhere?

If this is a result of BP and the chemicals they used we are in a lot of trouble. That would mean our ecosystem from the oceans to the very air we breathe is currently toxic.

The chemical theory doesn't fit for the blackbirds and starlings as the necropsy showed multiple internal trauma as if the birds hit something or were hit by something.

I'd be looking for a cloaked Klingon Bird of Prey and someone walking around the streets of SF asking where he can find our nuclear wessels. ;)

Jeez, guys, get a grip. First of all, just because you heard it somewhere doesn't mean it happened.
Oh, and all those blackbirds with blunt force trauma? They were found dead on Jan 1st, and their night vision is lousy. Figure it out.

Ya know, you say that jokingly but there are many many believers out there that do believe this and other simuliar events are pre-apocalypes happenings. I don't believe 2012 is the end but I fear there will be suicides and other incidents as we get closer to it. People are funny like that.

Oh I believe major changes are coming.
The end of the world; no.

Changes to life as we know if; possibly.

Its pretty easy to say "major changes". Can you name anything specific? Fill us in on what you know.

I think financially this country is toast and we have some MAJOR changes coming. I believe we will go back to an isolationist stand like we did prior to world war II.

I think globally things are going to deteriorate faster than ever seen.

Theories and beliefs are just that, no one knows how the future plays out.

It's easy to see in the world financial poker tournament that China holds most of the chips, right now, and is staking the US it's seat at the table. I hope that will change and we don't become "toast".
It's also easy to understand your theory that the deterioration in world stability, we've all witnessed in the last few years, could begin to move "faster". Again, I hope you're wrong.
But let's not forget that our opinions are not the truth, and to assume they are is either arrogance or ignorance. Once something is the truth, it no longer is our opinion.

so what you guys are saying is........those birds died of fear:eek: They felt the geopolitical turmoil might lead to WW3...and pfft thier flight muscles siezed right up.

I agree but lets look at some "truths":

- The US is broke, we have negative income
- We rely on China buying our debt and they have slowed in buying it (Explained here:http://www.getmoneyenergy.com/2010/01/biggest-foreign-buyers-of-us-debt/)
- Debt ceiling is being hit AGAIN and without raising it we go into default
- Unemployment is steady, no jobs being created
- The overall housing market is still a mess
- Monetizing all our debt very very fast (Good read: http://www.chrismartenson.com/blog/shell-game-how-federal-reserve-monetizing-debt/25806)

In simplest terms:

Look at it this way, it is like maxing out your credit card on daily life expenses and also using it to also pay the minimum monthly payment.

Then saying, well lets just increase the limit so we can pay more bills and pay next months payment. At some point your monthly payment will exceed your increase and default will occur.

The only option to avoid default is to re-evaluate the dollar value like a stock does a reverse split and that will wipe out everyone's money. The only thing of value will be gold and silver in hand.

This is a truth based off of history of a fiat currency society. They ALL fail. It is unavoidable. We are rapidly approaching this and I believe there is no stopping it. We went to far in debt, spent to much and have to many entitlements to cut to make it work.

Name ONE program ran by the government that is a success ??? Soc Sec ?? Medicare ?? Welfare ?? Fannie Mae ??? Cash for Clunkers ??
And yet we are supposed to believe this same agency is going to "fix" everything ????
