^more pics please^. Beautiful cars.

yeah we need some more color matched pics

I've been eyeing these for years now but I can't tell if they look good or not in pictures. Some photos they look awesome, some look like they're out of place. I still have yet to see them in person.

I like what the white NSX did with them, painting the outer part to blend in with the car. I would be interested in a groupbuy (hint for our vendors).

For me its the size. I prefer the R-GT ones. Reminds me of the GT40.

They might look better if the price was not as high; I would be interested in a group buy if the price is right.

Funny I just saw this thread because Thomas emailed me tonight and after like 5 months of waiting my set is ready. He just boxed them up ready to go.

I mainly got them because as I stared at my clean car in the sun, that carbon weave on the R wing was just glowing... and two people that saw the car actually commented on the carbon of the wing... and as I walked around the car I realized I need to just pickup that color on the side. I have carbon B pillars but I haven't put them on, I might sell them. I don't want patches of carbon. But the wing and the scoop are large pieces, and they flow into each other.

Worse comes to worse and I don't like it, I will post them up here and sell them.

Do they "ruin" the lines of the car? Meh.... its definitely not stock, but I like that. It says something special is inside this car. Needs more air. LOL... It's a little loud but not too bad. A similar thing to what I would expect to see on a GT-2. In fact... I believe that is how they are over the standard turbo P. They are a little mean looking. Not as "nice" and smooth as the factory, but a little more angry. I like it.

does it come with a mesh insert?

guys are you running a df/sos air scoop also with use or using the oem scoop

Yes, thanks for that photo mix!

The DF-R scoops come with a silver mesh which I really thing looks cheap and horrible on the car so I modified the original vents on to the scoops. Looks way more OEM.

The original scoops were really heavy I was very surprised when I felt the weight of these things.

Can you please tell me if the opening is the same size as the OEM vents and that the only thing larger is the design directing the air into the channel? I like the aggressive looks of these, but anything besides a very dark colored car would probably look better partially painted. $600 for FRP is steep & painting them would probably cost closer to $700-50 after shipping at the going rate. By then you're looking closer to CF prices.
