Hey guys, need your help here!

I accidentally parked my 1991 Acura NSX in the sun and I didn't crack my window. Well, the top left part (driver's side) of the windshield molding blew out (1 inch). At first, I thought the windshield had cracked, but it is not cracked. How much would it cost to buy that windshield molding? Is it easy to put in? Can I do it myself?

Thanks!
John

I am wondering if this really happen from that event in the sun or maybe you never noticed it. This "shortening" of that top window molding is a very common thing on NSX's. You can buy a new one, and you should buy the "channel" piece that goes under it, for a complete repair.

Yeah, these things are like those shrinkey dinks we used to color and put in the oven. I'm not sure what's up with them. I replaced mine already and it's already starting to look like crap again. I'm unaware of the "channel" part underneath it. What is that exactly?

Look foward to seeing you soon John.

BTW, the rotors are taking forever. Think the other party just took my money and ran  "Go Go credit card chargeback." We are ordering a new set from a local seller and they should be here in a few days.

apologize for the delay.
