Different OEM antenna masts for NSX depending on year?

I called the Acura dealer that I buy parts from and inquired about pricing and availability of OEM antenna masts and OEM antenna mast / motor assemblies and was told that there was a part number break in the 'RT' designation of the VIN#, and that there are (2) different OEM masts, and that they are almost $20 different in pricing ($50 for one, $70 for the other). Does anyone know what the actual difference is?

I am wondering if I bought the wrong one last time. Because I replaced my OEM mast a year or two ago and it will not go all the way down. It gets to the last inch or so and stops and makes that clicking sound like the motor is skipping over threads like it was stuck. If you push the mast a little on the way down and 'help' it, it goes all the way down without issue.

Any thoughts on either one of these?

Not sure on the difference. I believe back in 01 and my first nsx I bought a mast for a 91 legend and it was the same one. Only $20 cheaper.

Mitch, we need to talk. I am going to take the oem antenna off my 93, and it's in perfect working condition. I also took the one off my silver 97. I doubt I'll ever go back to stock, so just trade something with me. :)
