Does Baldwin still make the best door knobs?

I'm looking to replace a few outside facing door knob/locks.

The last time I held and moved a Baldwin it was just waaaay better than anything from Kwik, etc.

Felt solid and that it was going to last centuries.

If there are other brands out there lemme know.

I did look into them and it seems that they just do pour casting as opposed to forging from Baldwin.

Baldwin has been around much longer and are used in the White House, etc.

Baldwin are crap, both finish and quality. Spent 300.00 on front door lockset, lasted 5 years, handles fall off and springs broke inside. Mine was a brass finish.....

I've got Baldwin on my front door. Guaranteed for life for the original buyer.

These were on the house when I bought it and I had to replace the left hand one when parts broke inside the lock and I got locked out. I like the look so I bought the exact same thing. Since I bought it this time, I get the guarantee. They are the same size but the left door is slightly open making the handle look smaller.
