Does your brake pedal rattle?

Am I the only person that has noticed this on their NSX? The brake pedal rattles. If you are parked and you just kick it to the side, you can hear it. The design is bad, there is a washer and a clip higher up that goes into the stalk that holds the pedal that rattles. I noticed this at first when I went over bumps. Just a slight noise and vibration. I investigated it after years of ownership and found the cause. Removed the clip, installed two rubber washers which tightened it up and made it quiet. Now it's 100% gone. Looking at it, I am certain they would all rattle. Go kick your pedal to the left and listen...

I should have taken pics, but I was in there modifying my pedals for better heel and toe operation and I fixed this while in there. I am just wondering how come no one else has ever brought this up?

I can't say i've noticed it. Then again i cant hear anything over my aspirator fan
I will have a listen for it.

Yeah, mine has done it every once in awhile (for 18 years)... I've just ignored it. I raised and widened the brake pedal head years ago for better heel-and-toe... should have done it them. Now you may have shamed me in to doing something about it.:wink:

My car is new so it is very tight, and I definitely hear a rattle... you almost more "feel" it than hear it. Just a quick... Brrr... you can get used to it and never notice it but once it's gone, it's like "ahhhh...." LOL.
