quick thanks to everyone for their help and response. this site is great.
so i decided to have the bose amp repaired until i could decide on aftermarket.
told the dealer the problem and asked them to remove it from door while doing other service.
they removed just the speaker?! i assume when i got around to looking at what they took out and boxed up, they missed the amp?
