Double Din Install Question

I'm installing a DDX512.

When connecting the speaker output wires of the DDX512 the OEM Speaker Amp wires the unit gives a troubleshooting code that the speaker wires are shorted.

Are the OEM speaker amp wires from the OEM plug RCA compatible?
Do I have to connect OEM wires to my RCA outputs from the DDX512?

Forget the question, I figured it out. The OEM system is RCA line level. So, I will connect RCA connectors to the OEM speaker wires at the OEM connector.
