Hi Guys,
I thought I would finally post some info and Dyno sheets for Igor's (Like007) NSX we have been testing/tracking for about a year now. This car is not a drag racer or a Dyno queen. We have run this car at over 15 track events (Redline Time Attack Finals) and some street driving. We have had a few troubles along the way (low voltage @ fuel pump, head stud threads pulled out of the block, etc.) But we now have a very reliable package and have learned from our mistakes. Some of the car spec; Love Fab Turbo Kit, Comptech 3.5 liter stroker, Comptech Heads, Toda Cam's, etc. Cheers, Shad

hmmmm while i am glad Shad is around, i dont think the NSX was "designed for track use"...

its a street car that is better suited for the track then its siblings, the legend, vigor, and accord...

Those are strong # for a reliable motor.Whats your thinking on routine maintainance Shad.Meaning what would/will you be doing to this motor vs the routine schedual of the oem NA motor.

Hey Shad

Great FW numbers.

can you share some of the lessons learned?

I hear you run a top notch establishment!

Warmest regards
Rob:smile:

Hi Guys,

I want to give a little feedback on the Shad's monster creation. I have the car back from Shad's engine built and turbo installed for almost a year now. I cannot explain how much I appreciate Shad's work on my car. It definetly could not be done without his professionalism, knowledge, and skills of him and his employees.

As you see on Dyno results, the car has more power than you can wish for at any RPM. Being a turbo car I don't feel any lag on acceleration. With this set up you can definetly surprise your friends with Corvettes, Vipers, Ferrary, etc..

The car is absolutely street drivable (if you don't mind speeding tickets) and can withstand heavy abuse at the track.

Thanks to Shad and his Team!!!

This car makes more horsepower at slightly over 4000 RPM than my car and most standard FI cars! (~350-380)

Is 1st gear even usable then? What's been done to reinforce the rest of the drivetrain like transmission, axles etc...

What are you smokin? Kip O. brought a Shad-built car to Road America last year, and ran circles around C6 Z06's! Mine in stock form is only 5 seconds off the pace of a Z06, and that is on a 4 mile long track.
